GREETINGS!  I am pleased to offer a stunning vintage rectangular mid-century majolica ceramic luster finish bowl from the workshop of renowned Umbria potter, Osvaldo Gualdo Dolci, a "trustee of the luster technique."  It measures 11-3/4" wide x 8" high and has raised edges with angular cuts in the outer border.  Hand painted with a polychrome malri decorative technique in bright earthtone colors with pure gold highlights and artist signature on lower right "R. Mafi?"  Bright gold trim highlights both the raised interior border and exterior rim presenting a beautiful frame for the interior impressionist painting of a pleasing cottage in the woods scene.  An excellent example of mid-century Italian decorated majolica, the bottom is gold signed O. DOLCI GUALDO T. and has two holes in base with gold string for hanging display.  Excellent vintage condition with no flaws, guaranteed as described.
