This is an original press photo. Gold that Glitters - with some of the richness of court life during the time of "The Crusades," is now being worn in mesh collars for the modern wardrobe. Katherine DeMille, Paramount player in the Cecil B. DeMille production, "The Crusades," wears a smart, fringed gold mesh scarf collar over a plain black dress. With it, she carries a gold metal mesh bag, a gold mesh compact studded with gems and a bracelet to match. Thus have "The Crusades" influenced the smart woman's wardrobe of the day.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated --1935.
