This is a chance for you basketball fans to add a nice 63-year-old Complete  Sports Basketball Annual magazine 1961-62 (Volume 1 Number 10) to your sports collection. This vintage Basketball magazine, with no shipping label, includes many articles and photos of the college and pro basketball players of that era.

The front cover features Boston Celtics’ great Bill Russell. There are many great articles and photos of NCAA and NBA basketball players and teams. The magazine includes Wilt Chamberlain’s College All-America Team, college basketball previews of teams from each region of the country, articles of pro stars Bob Cousy, Willie Naulls, Jack Twyman and Cliff Hagan, plus Clair Bee’s Tops to High School Players.

There is yellowing of the paper, and there is a slight musty smell often found in magazines of this age. There is a white imperfection on the front cover near Russell's left knee. Not sure what that is (printing error?), but it is very smooth to the touch so it doesn't appear to be Wite-Out or something similar. But again, I am not sure what caused that white spot on the front cover.  The only other flaws are a couple very small creases on the front cover. The spine is totally intact. It might be difficult to find this magazine in any better condition (other than the white spot).

This is a great collectable with many great stories and pictures that will bring back a lot of memories for long-time basketball fans. Such a fun read!
