Vintage 1930s-40s Plastic Celluloid Horse Head

Description: Vintage c. 1940s-50s Butterscotch Celluloid/ bakelite? Horse Head Pin/Brooch fresh from the estate a longtime Silver and Fine Jewelry collector! Unmarked. This piece is as it was found, has not been cleaned or altered in any way. Appears to be sometime around 1940s-50s. Has typical light marks/scuffing one would expect from a piece this old. Some discoloration. Has mark on the back from heat? Condition as shown in pictures. We tried to do the 409 test and did not seem to find any yellow on the qtip. We also tried to rub and smell test and could not really determine. We were told it was bakelite from a long time collector and she always believed it to be, but we arent 100% sure. I have taken nice closeups for your inspection. Have not tried to clean any of it! Guaranteed to be an original and vintage piece.
