This lens clearly needs cleaning as the optics as shown are though clear and usable to the extent any lens over 60 years old is marred by dust, grime and cleaning marks. However the key word there (apart from old) is USABLE. This little pocket rocket still gives excellent results on my M9 and Leica T.

Cosmetically it looks bizarrely new with no visible signs of use. Rarer feet version with a very usable Leitz UVa filter with just slight marks to the edges.

So this lens is priced accordingly.. and is the far more useful late e39 version and STILL in LTM so can be used on the earliest and latest cameras.

If you cannot clean optics and like your lens unadulterated by modern hygiene extremes (ie a good clean) this lens is for you.

I have included an out of camera unprocessed image taken with the lens as well as a photo of a bright light shone specifically to highlight the dust etc in the lens (this does not appear in photos!)
