This is a pull-on pants costume which shows you from the waist up but waist down hides your legs so that it looks like leprechaun in green is carrying you though you are walking under your own power.
You'll automatically create the impression that you are riding on the shoulders of a little green-clad man. In actuality, your legs are the ones wearing the costume's green pants. Black shoe covers give you the view of traditional shoes even if you want to wear your most comfortable sneakers. Attached to the costume is a jovial leprechaun head with big round eyes, a full red beard, and a large, happy red smile. There's also a set of fake leprechaun arms that hold up dummy legs. When you're wearing the outfit, it should look like those fake legs are yours. They'll drape over the shoulders of the ensemble's jolly leprechaun.
The leprechaun is dressed in his traditional emerald green clothing with black and gold trim. The shamrock on his hat leaves no question as to his identity.
