Superb collection of Oceanic Polynesian shell jewellery from the Solomon Islands

Collected in the late 1970's / early 80's

Two seed dance rattles also in the lot along with currency shell necklaces & two trophy necklaces

Well made pieces with some wear & tear visible - see images 

In good condition with some wear & tear - the seed rattles make a good sound but have some chips - the large cut shell necklace has some currency beads & teeth - the three strand currency necklace is in good condition throughout - the the trophy necklaces are made from cut shell pieces but the teeth have some cracks in them - binding is also a bit loose on these two examples - the larger one could do with some repairs & the clasp is still to close - see images - ideal lot for the collector of Oceanic tribal art - please see all the images
