You are bidding on a small lot of fifties to sixties vintage Army toys including Tootsie Toy and LineMar. This bid lot contains a plastic raft and camouflage netting, 14 Army men, a Tootsie Toy Army tractor trailer with rocket launcher, a LineMar tin Army stake body truck, 2 tin X-18 rockets marked Japan, an unmarked tin amphibious landing craft and 2 Tootsie Toy jet planes.
The Army men measure 2- and 1/2-inches in height. They are in decent condition, but most figures are missing helmets. The American flag is not original to the set.
The two, tin X-18 rockets are marked, 'Made in Japan' and feature rubber tailfins. The tailfins have warped with age plus one tail fin is missing. Rockets measure 6- and 3/4-inches in length. Not sure what toy they originally came from.
The tin amphibious landing craft is unmarked. It measures 6 inches in length and has a working friction motor. Shows play wear but still in decent condition.
There are two, Tootsie Toy jets, one red and one blue. Both jets are marked, 'NAVY'. There is paint loss to both. Rubber tires are still good. Blue jet is 3- and 5/8-inches long with a 3- and 1/2-inch wingspan. Red jet is 3 inches long with a 2- and 3/4-inch wingspan.
The Army stake-body truck is marked, 'Line Mar Japan' on the underside. It is equipped with a working friction motor and measures 6- and 1/4-inches in length. The plated parts have rusted and there is some rust on the hood and left rear of stake bed. Body stakes need straightening.
The Tootsie Toy Army tractor trailer rig with rocket launcher is in good condition but missing the rocket. Rig measures 8- and 3/4-inches in overall length. A few paint chips but still displays well. Rubber tires are good.
