1950s Busato Modele 43 - Gypsy Jazz / Django / Selmer / Maccaferri style guitar

The Busato atelier, now shrouded in myth and mystery, was once a bustling production workshop. Back in its prime, it crafted a diverse array of stringed instruments for renowned companies such as Sonora and Paul Beucher, discreetly concealing the true origin of their manufacturing. This particular guitar encompasses all the distinctive features of a Busato model 43, albeit utilizing more cost-effective materials and detailing. It is highly probable that the atelier employed identical molds to those of the model 43, subsequently dispatching the finished product to a dealership where a custom label was affixed to the instrument. Although the original label has long since disappeared, the guitar's structure and tone remain remarkably unique.

When you pick up this guitar, an immediate realization dawns - "the sound is reminiscent of Tchan Tchou!" It exudes an abundance of mojo, characterized by honky mids, a resonant yet hollow bass, and sharp biting highs. For those in pursuit of the quintessential vintage gypsy tone, your quest ends here.
