Two hardbacks arranged/edited by Sir Arthur Quiller Couch. Please see details of their condition below. The books included are:

1) The Golden Pomp - A Procession of English Lyrics From Surrey to Shirley arranged by A. T. Quiller Couch and published in 1895 by Methuen and Co. It has 382 pages with notes and a section at the back for the Publisher's other books. The original book seller label from Sheffield is on the inside back cover.

Please note the spine has been re-covered with a section of the original spine attached (shown in the pictures). The cover has age related marks. The binding is showing on the inside front and back covers. The first title page is coming away at the top (also shown in the picture). The pages are in a good condition.

2) The Oxford Book of English Verse, Chosen and Edited by Sir Arthur Quiller Couch, published in 1953 by Oxford At the Clarendon Press. It has 1165 pages. The cover has some wear to the edges and fading. There is a stamp for Norwich High School For Girls on the first blank page with a name. The pages have a few marks and some staining to the edge (shown in the pictures).
