CHINESE VINTAGE Rice Grains in PORCELAIN Ceramics BLUE AND WHITE DISH
Small dish with a rice pattern (baked in when made) having a delicate hand painted chrysanthemum flower in a cobalt shade in the center.
A thinly molded dish with the molded pattern of rice kernels. It has a thick, smooth and shiny base glaze with a slight bluish tinge. Dish is filled with rice kernels and left them translucent. The central well has a painting of a plant and flower. It is surrounded by repeating borders and rings. The band on the lip is a trigram H and bat border. From Kangxi period.
At the center of the base is a five character mark and made in china

4 3/8” (11.1 cm) diameter x 1 1/2” (3.81 cm) tall. Weighs 3.7 oz (105 g)
CONDITION
There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. The glaze shows little wear and is bright and shiny. There appear to be no flaws as I can tell.
