“9ct Solid Gold Lion Intaglio Seal Signet Ring” Heay 8.7g Size T The ring is fully English hallmarked for 9 carat gold and it was assayed in Birmingham 1926 and the makers mark is “M&M” of whom I am not familiar with. It is in excellent second hand condition with no dings or dents and it has a superb detailed intaglio which depicts a lion holding the letter “A” standing within a gondola. The top of the ring is cushion shaped and measures 11mm x 11mm, the ring is an English finger size “T” but could be sized up or down by a working jeweller for a small fee. It weighs a heavy 8.7 grams. A very good looking intaglio ring which would make a fine addition to any collection of intaglio rings.
