I believe these are Audiomaster MSL-1 speakers

I think these speakers are MSL-1 but these are often listed as BBC LS3/5A speakers which are incredibly sought after. I think they share some components but I believe the crossovers in these speakers is not the same as the LS3/5A model

Tested and sound is very good, sometimes a little popping/ thumping from the bass units is bass is up full.

There are no labels on the rear only a serial number on the rear of each.

A matched pair Serial numbers are 003970 and 0003971

Tweeters approx 3.5cm across the front domes mounted in a 12cm x 9cm rectangular metal plates. On rear of tweeters are stickers with Audax on them

6.5” bass drivers (measurement includes the surrounds)

on rear of bass units is stamped:

HD17B25/8 (ohms symbol) 2CP12

CN103 IN

25 (printed in a square)

1118

The Stamped text is more legible on the back of one of the base units than the other, but I still may have not quite deciphered it correctly, there are photos of the back of both bass units as well as pictures of the crossover inside.

Wooden effect laminated composite boxes have some deep scratches and heavy wear, corners and edges are quite good. Shade of wood effect on speakers varies possibly due to discolouration/ sun fading particularly on the top of one. The sides are better matches.

Nets on both, only one still has items Audiomaster emblem on the bottom right corner. A hole in the net over the corner of one, otherwise nets in both are good, no other holes and no pulls, both have all 4 spigots on the rear of the nets.

Each speaker measures 37cm high approx x 23cm across the front x 20cm deep approx including the nets
