GBD INTERNATIONAL 1004 (pre-Cadogan/pre-1980) + Unmarked (GBD?) English Pipes
Two interesting English freehand sitter pipes offered in this listing. The International is a very good GBD series from the pre-Cadogan period (i.e. before 1980). Quite clear grains all over the bowl surface. We estimate that the pipe has been made some time in the 1950s-1960s (see in the last photo the oxidation on its stem before it was cleaned). Bowl size similar to Dunhill's Group 4. A scratch on the bowl exterior close to the rim is the only fault of this pipe. The other pipe (which is unmarked) is a beautiful freehand with big bowl (similar in size to Dunhill's Group 5), square shank and stem, and saddle mouthpiece. It has only a "LONDON MADE" mark.We believe it is a GBD or BBB of the pre-Cadogan period. The pipe does not have any faults and is in near mint condition. GBD's Nomenclature/Marks

pipe(s) you will receive are thoroughly cleaned by us (stummel,
oxidation removal, bowl cleaning, stem sanitisation) so they arrive to
you as close to their original form as possible and in a ready-to-smoke
condition.
