Vtg Set 9 WILLIAM YEOWARD 'ZARA' Hand Cut Crystal Low Champagne/Sherbet Glasses
SUPER RARE!
3 5/8" tall x 3 7/8" across the top, square beveled foot is 2 3/8" diameter
Excellent condition, 7 of the 9 glasses are pristine. 2 glasses have EXTREMELY minor very small nicks. Glass #8 has a TINY fleabite nick at rim on inner rim, does not cut across top of rim. Glass #9 has a very shallow clean flake off corner which does not change shape of corner and is difficult to notice unless you are searching. See last 2 pics and use zoom.
These make a very loud and clear musical ringing sound when struck. A magnificent and RARE pattern. Very clear crystal. No signs of wear, no scratches, no cloudiness whatsoever. Pristine! These are the best of the best.
Hand cut with a top band of dimensional faceted diamond shapes. At base, 8 scoop cuts resembling petals. Square base is very thick with beveled edges, and with a faceted cut star cut into the underside. Spool stem.
Beautiful design is 'outstanding' on this particular set. Created by hand in the 18th century Georgian classical style. Absolutely breathtaking, heirloom quality. See all pics and use zoom.

Versatile size is great for champagne but also makes a wonderful dessert glass.
These are hand cut crystal by the late William Yeoward, who died in 2019. He was based in the UK and named many patterns after members of the Royal family. His crystal glass creations are in huge demand as premium collectibles.
