Here for Sale is my Kl250

Ive used it since registering most days for work (30 mile round trip) and it’s been great! 

I parked it up last October (outside under a trap)and that’s where it’s sat until moving into my unit last week. sadly other projects and bikes have taken priority.

No rush to sell so no offers below start price will even be considered before or after auction. If it doesn’t sell il keep it! 

The bike does run and ride (had a quick ride around the farm my units at today) however it does need a little tlc/recomission where it’s been stood, for that reason it’s being listed as a project!

Cheap insurance being a classic

A5 model which was not sold in the UK

German import (photocopy of previous German V5)

Carb could do with a re jet/ adjustment as it’s a little stuttery if you rev it quick, I just used as is and didn’t bother me.

Showing signs of wear in places.

Brakes could do with and adjustment/clean up where it’s been sat.

I do have a new seat cover I was going to fit which il throw in for free.

I have a manual somewhere which il try and dig out.

Minimal if not no wear on Cam and cylinder head (common issue on these bikes)

Clocks are in kph however I have fitted a small gearbox to the cable so it now reads in Mph.

V5 in my name.

12v conversion.

No points, cdi version

I really don’t want to sell it but currently it’s just sat there and I’d love someone else to enjoy it as much as I have.

As stated if it doesn’t sell I may strip and do a full restoration on it.

This is listed as a project so will be sold as seen, no refunds. Receipt will be given.

Collection only please. (Advise collection in a van or trailer)

The bike is located in my lockup just outside of Bude in Cornwall.

I work shift so I don’t have every weekend off so collection needs to be agreed on a certain day between myself and the buyer.
