Up for sale is this adorably simple little vintage ceramic piggy bank that was made and hand painted in Japan.

Little piggy measures approximately 4” in height by 6” in length.

Bank is in good vintage condition but it is missing its original stopper. I have a crumpled piece of paper stuffed there as a makeshift temporary stopper.

There is visible crazing all throughout the piece. Some areas on the piggy look a little lumpy or ridged. I am unsure whether this is from original manufacture or some kind of age related damage. Please review pics for reference to this.

Also previously there was a chip repair done with Milliput on the underside of the piece alongside the stopper hole. Repair was then covered with a gloss varnish to protect it further. Please review the last photo for reference to this repair.
