Bio: Jackson studied art at the American Academy in Chicago. For a time he was employed as a commercial artist but broke away in order to paint the subject matter he, himself, selected.
He was completely absorbed at the present time with still life compostions. A perfectionist, he sat at his easel for hours at a time, painting and repainting a drop of moisture of the stem of a piece of fruit. The result-portraits of mouth-watering morsels to delight the beholder.
Paintings by Jackson have been exhibited in New Orleans French Quarter, in Winnetka, Salt Lake City, Chicago and Minneapolis.
