The 1/2 inch rabbeted edges will fit into a 17 1/4 inches tall and 16 inches wide camera back. The frame is a hefty 1 inch thick. There is a brass plate on center top where the camera's mounting clip would lock it in position, and the mounting holes on the bottom are 11 1/4 inches apart. The back has plenty of wood there that could probably be further rabbeted or grooved to secure into other makes of similarly sized studio cameras if necessary. It's in EXCELLENT+ original condition, not sure it was ever actually used, bought "new" years ago during a San Jose Photo Fair (I think, but I am not positive, that it was from Western Bellows) with the intent to use it on the Anthony studio camera in my collection, but never got around to it. The studio camera rig is long gone to another collector, and I rediscovered this spring back still in storage just last week, only a bit dusty from sitting here for so many years, but still in pristine mint condition.
