Weller Art Pottery MUSKOTA LEDA and SWAN on Rock Nude Frog Figural 1920's

Very Pretty Classic Form.  These are very hard to find without damage especially to the overhanging portions. Gorgeous Matte glazes, this is a 1920's piece with a Great Arts & Crafts appearance.

"Leda and the Swan" was a popular art form subject and story in the 1920's and was based on Greek mythology.

No cracks, chips or repairs, sparkling clean inside and out, typical crazing, normal Weller Factory manufacturing artifacts, a bit of extra green glaze on under Leda's body and what appears to be a glaze skip on one corner that has been covered (possibly at the factory since it seems permanent) see last 2 photos.

Marked with the artists cipher on the bottom underside.  It's measures about 7 inches tall, 7 1/2 inches long, and about 5 inches wide.
