You are looking at a interesting and somewhat obscure ceramic microphone made by an American microphone company called the CM-10A which was a lite weight hand held or could simply be placed in it's practical plastic mic clip.

 Pic # 2 shows an old Sonotone data sheet from 1958 showing the mics basic technical info.

 The CM-10A model mic had a rugged ceramic element that was set at high impedance and while it was originally used for basic communication purposes such as dispatch and general broadcasting...this just happens to make an excellent harp mic.

 I have come across many of these CM-10A's over the years and they are very hit and miss but this one has an excellent working element with a 100% signal rate. It will really impress if you play the harmonica as the tone is higher pitched, dirty and strong especially when cupped closely in the hands. Very easy to cup as well.

 The CM-10A has an all metal design with a satin chrome finish, gold front screen and an original 8 foot cable. The satin chrome finish shows extremely lite wear and free of any dents or pitting. 

 The cable is soft, pliable and free of any wear. It has the quality Switchcraft male 1/4 inch connector as well for most audio equipment and all guitar amplifiers.

 The mic comes with it's original mic clip that is in very good condition showing very lite wear. The mic slip right into the clip and fits firmly inside. The clear plastic sheath can be rotated up and down with ease. The clip will screw onto any mic stand you have as well.

 If you need a perfect working CM-10A...this is your girl.
