VERY GOOD Condition brown cloth hardcover with 

light soiling, light wear, a bright and clean interior with 

no writing other than 3 words in pencil on the last free 

endpaper, no loose, torn or missing pages and a tight, 

firm binding. Dust jacket has some soiling, a stain to the 

bottom of the spine as shown, some edge wear and edge 

chips/tears. It is not priced, but Vanguard did not always 

price their dust jackets (ala Dr. Seuss for an example). 

The book is a First Edition as evidenced by the lack of 

other printings not being mentioned and the lack of a 

number line.
