Vintage Japanese Bamboo Basket And Vase w/ Box

Woven with fine bamboo strips in diamond and looping patterns, this slender light brown basket is a decorative vase for small flowers and ikebana arrangements. It contains a braided handle of the same bamboo material and inside is a thick cutting of hollowed-out bamboo to hold flowers and water. Even if one isn't adept at the art of ikebana, this item is still a beautiful statement piece for any table or shelf in a home, office, or business.
