LATEST BMW/Mini 2024 MOVE Sat nav update
If unsure what map your car has please send me your car's VIN (VIN is shown on V5 document or on the front windscreen, at the bottom on passenger side and starts WBA), you can also check your current installed map via the idrive options (open Navigation screen, press OPTIONS button near idrive control wheel, scroll to bottom option which will show current map type and year loaded), if the map has "MOVE" anywhere in the map name this map will be compatible, eg: "Road Map Europe MOVE" I have attached an example photo of compatible navigation type. If you are unsure just send me a message and ask, I can guide you through checking if this would work for you.
IF YOUR CURRENT MAP VERSION SHOWS "PREMIUM" OR "EVO" OR "NEXT" OR "MOTION" NOT "MOVE" IN THE DESCRIPTION, FOR EXAMPLE "Road map Europe PREMIUM 2012" THEN YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT MAP TYPE BUT THESE MAPS CAN ALSO BE UPDATED TO LATEST RELEASE, PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER ITEMS OR MESSAGE ME IF YOU CAN'T SEE A CURRENT AUCTION FOR YOUR MAP TYPE AND I WILL SET ONE UP FOR YOU.
The BMW/Mini navigation system will copy all the map data to its internal hard drive and then the maps will be run from there, you only need to install the map data once from the USB stick.
Please note this auction includes a USB stick containing the latest map data ready to load to the car (you can keep this USB stick and reuse for whatever you want once the map in your car has been updated!), very useful high capacity USB stick for storing files.
