This auction is for the patch that is pictured.

The patches in this collection were glued to card stock for display. They may still have some glue and bits of card stock on the back as shown. You can remove most if not all of this with a little time and patience.

I believe this to be an example of tight embroidered lettering with open cheesecloth backing.

 I am not an expert but believe this to be an original period patch. It does not glow under black light. I have included a picture of the back so that you can bid with confidence that you are getting the real deal. A similar shoulder flash is pictured in The Sergeant Major's Book of Badges Book 2: Canadian Army Cloth Shoulder Flashes 1900-1967.

Shipping is estimated at $8 in the US and $6 in Canada. This is for shipping in a bubble mailer. 

 If you would like shipping in a box that is fine but costs will be more.
