New in for the OCD VW enthusiast amongst us! OE style sump nuts just like the originals for that concourse connoisseur!

This listing is for 6 sump nuts. (Sump nuts only sump plate is for illustration only)

Product Overview;

Cap Nut for Oil Drain Plate (Oil Sump). These are closed ended nuts that prevent oil drips (weaping down the stud threads), that's why VW used these and not "regular" nuts.

Hints and Tips;

Do not over tighten as this will compress the copper washer too much and cause leaks. They should be tightened to 5 Lb Ft which can be measured with a small torque wrench. If you do not have a suitable torque wrench, a guide is a firm twist on a screw driver is equivalent to about 5 Lb Ft (i.e. not much). I used to successfully use a spinner as shown in picture 3 prior to buying a torque wrench and found this worked well.
