An original - and very scarce - Copeland plate, OSNC cypher to the centre and 'snowflake' border in blue with gilded bands. The reverse has the stamps of the White Star Line, Stonier & Co. of Liverpool and Copeland late Spode factory stamp. There is also the impressed Copeland over a crown mark, along with the date code when the plate was produced: J over 26, so one of the J months in 1926.

Condition
There are some minor manufacturing blemishes including a few tiny specks and air bubbles in the glaze. It also has minute loss on the gilded rim (see final photo). There are some lines of glaze crazing, though they are relatively unobtrusive.
The snowflake border print is nice and evenly applied and the marks to the underside are clearly printed. It has had very little wear as there just a couple of light cutlery marks to the glaze surface, only visible under a certain light.
