ONE set of exceedingly rare set of original oem power and output transformers for a 5C8, 5D8 FENDER Tweed TWIN 6516 power transformer was also used in the Pro, Bassman, Super, Bandmaster, and Twin.

These are clean working units. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V.P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings. This serves as insulation and moisture (non condensing), protection and is part of the manufacturing process. You usually see evidence of the varnish on top of the laminations.
