This vintage telescope tripod is a rare find from J.H Dallmeyer London. It is perfect for collectors or enthusiasts of antique marine/maritime astronomy equipment. Crafted with precision and expertise, this telescope's tripod is a testament to the skill of the craftsmen of that era. Its object type is a an extremely rare named tripod wit adjustable pivot made from brass, making it a unique addition to any antique collection. The tripod is sturdy and well-constructed, ensuring stable support for the telescope. As you can see in the pictures it is tarnished but took me moments to reveal the makers name. The wood is teak I think with brass feet. All measurements are in the pictures but if there are any questions please ask. These tripods are rarer than the telescopes so a must for any Dallmeyer collector. Will need brass polished and wood re finished but is in good condition and everything moves as it should. Please see pictures for condition.
