This pattern helps you create a Child's or Babies jacket or coat using simple slipstitch worked over 4 rows that creates a wonderful smock effect. The pattern gives you the option of either long or short sleeves and a round neck or collar. It is knitted in Stylecraft Bambino DK but other DK can also be used.
Requirements:
- 1 pair of 3.75mm (UK9 - USA5)
- 1 pair of 4mm (UK8 - USA6) knitting needles.
- Stitch holders.
- 3 buttons
