A very nice and quite unusual microfossil sample from the Pennsylvanian age Gene Autry Shale of Oklahoma. This material is rich in microfossils, especially foraminifera. Additionally, occasional vertebrate remains can be found including teeth and scales of sharks and fish, although they are not common.

Each sample comes with a guide identifying the more common species that can be found. This is great material offering hours of rewarding searching. A microscope is necessary to properly sort this material.
