A pair of good quality, vintage, Swift Skipper, Model 789, 7x50 Fully-Coated binoculars in good working order. The fully-coated optics are clear, the alignment is fine, you get a bright and quite wide image when using them (7.2 degrees-376ft at 1000 yards), all the focusing controls work smoothly, they feature screw back eye cups that are suitable for normal use or when wearing spectacles (screw back for normal use, see photos numbers 11 & 12) and the front pivot cover screws off to access a standard 1/4 inch tripod bush (see photo number 9). They have a few signs of use but are generally in a good cosmetic condition (please see photos). Made in Japan, factory number J-B131 (Yamanoi Kogaku Co Ltd), serial number 8-670570, has Japanese JTII quality sticker, comes with neck strap, front and rear Swift lens caps (one of the small caps is split but still usable) and original brown hard case with adjustable shoulder strap. Well made, tough, traditional type binoculars, ideal for general use, bird/nature watching, race meetings etc.,very good for use in low light/dull weather conditions.
