BRAND US Army.

DESCRIPTION
One of my favourite HBT shirts (jackets), difficult to find in such great condition and in good size!
Details include:
- HBT fabric.
- 13 stars buttons.
- Ranking patches.
- Division Insignia patch.
- Soldier name patch.
- US Army patch.

Officially called "Jacket, Herringbone Twill, Special OD Shade 7"
This was the standard US Army HBT uniform and was made in the correct OD#7 (Olive drab shade no7) green colour which was introduced in March 1943 and was issued in time for the D-Day landings in Normandy.

FABRIC 100% cotton.

YEAR WW2 Era.

CONDITION Signs of wear on the neck and left arm (please see last picture). No missing buttons. The gas flap behind the front opening has been removed. Still in a good solid green colour with little fade. Overall in great condition, especially if you consider that this jacket has probably seen some action during the WW2.
