This is an old Mexican piece of clay pottery, it is very primitive.  You can tell it has been handmade and hand-painted.  

It is approximately 9" (h) x 6.5" (w) and holds approximately 1 quart (4 cups).  The pitcher is in vintage condition with some paint fading and scraping on the bottom.   

It is marked on the bottom "Made in Mexico".
