This is a Covid purchase for my son for endless summer days which never materialised...so here it is for someone else to have great aspirations, a very low mileage Daihatsu Extol 1.3 petrol engine panel van. Sometime way before we purchased it it was refashioned into the colours you see now, make of it as you will!! Most of the doors/panels have dings in them etc and the side doors require the front doors to be open to shut correctly. It definitely requires a 'refurbishment' unless you don't mind the dishevelled look. This is ideal if you want a cheap panel van or fancy doing the micro camper idea and want to put your own mark on it.
Bad points: needs a good clean inside and out
side doors need a good slam to close
has superficial rust inside and out
still remains white on the V5
you do get noticed when driving!
will need a service since only driven to keep the engine ticking over
the steering wheel is not the original
Good points: Very low mileage 48905 miles, driven 10 miles since the last MOT
Passed the last MOT with no issues

I think the Extol has a chain driven Yaris engine, so no cam belt change
Very nippy and fun to drive
New battery last year

the back is long enough to sleep in
I'd say a good clean and a camo paint paint job and you have a respectable youthful van/camper to enjoy the Cornish summer. The van is located next to the A30 between Bodmin and Launceston and is currently sorn.
