Stamped I. Lot this clarinet was made by (Thomas) Isidor Lot c.1880's who was the nephew of the famous flute maker Louis Lot. It's boxwood with 13 nickel keys and rings. Being sold "as is" for restoration.
There are no discerable cracks, but there's a broken tenon which will need replacing to make this clarinet playable again.
All keys are there. The sections are all marked with the maker's logo including the mouthpiece which unfortunately is broken.
The full sounding length from barrel to bell is 23 3/8" or 595 mm, which looks like it would play near modern pitch of A=440.
I thought this would be a nice addition to my antique instrument collection, but I really don't have time or access to the right equipment to give this baby the attention it deserves.
It also comes with a wooden box which is probably not the original case but will be sufficient for shipping and transporting.
I hope someone qualified in repairs will take on the challenge.
I'm very negotiable.
We also ship worldwide.
Thanks for looking!
