GWR Railway Map Newbury Station 1887. The Berks and Hants Railway sheet 53/54, presumably a numbered section based on the distance from London. On linen size approx. 102 by 65 cm. Scale 2 chains to the inch, or approximately 1:2,500. Surveyed in 1878, corrected in 1887. The map shows Newbury station, with bridges, roads, crossings, a gas works etc. and below that a second section of line showing Enborne Junction. Includes detailed information about land ownership and leaseholders and with a pasted on addition that beings the information up to the mid-20th century. This can be removed. Hand-coloured. Some cropping to edges. Good condition.
