Up for bid and for your consideration is a vintage Donada novelty flower shaped watch / clock with a jeweled movement. Made in Switzerland.

This wonderful clock is very unusual and would be at home in a shabby chic room or stylish living room! To you collectors, it would be a great addition to your alarm clock collection! Worthy of restoration.

The details:

It is about 4 inches tall, about 3-1/4 inches wide at the flower and about 1-15/16 inches diameter at the base.

Right off the bat, you will notice that the dial is set upside down in the case. The crystal is also missing.

The cream colored clock face is marked Donada Jeweled under the 12 position, Antimagnetic over the 6 position and Swiss Made under the 6 position.

It has gold colored Arabic numbers outlined in black at the 12 and 6 positions and tear drop dashes representing the 3 and 9 and a dot representing the rest of the numerals. 

The hands are both present. 

The hour hand is in decent condition but the minute hand is really beat up. It is bent and has lost all of its luminous material.

The flower petals are made of pierced metal, with a little ball at the quarter hour positions. It kind of looks laser cut, but this clock is too early for that. It was probably stamped. There are 2 sets of petals one faces to the front and a second set face the back of the clock.

The clock is wound and set from the bottom. It should wind with the stem pushed in and set with the knob pulled out. The set works, the wind does not.

The back of the movement case is marked "Swiss Made" and "Antimagnetic".

The clock does not work. If rocked side to side, it will tick for a few seconds. I planned to have it fixed someday, but now, I will leave that to someone else!

Please understand that this clock is being sold "As Is" with no warranty or guarantees. Any clocks I sell are vintage and likely needs to, at least, have the movement cleaned and /or oiled. In the case of non-working clocks, such as this, I do not know if the movement is complete. I also have no way to know how the clock is handled upon arrival. For these reasons, I do not accept returns.

This clock is really neat and has been a favorite of mine for a while. It would be great for a clock collector or for anyone who likes the unusual!  Maybe you know someone who would enjoy this as a gift? Why not bid now?!
