French antique pedestal plate or cake stand from Gien 1938
This French cake stand is from the famous Gien manufactory, signed under the base. France was stamped for export. The very typical hand painted flower design on an off white background of the era, is simple but elegant . We can see the brush traces and the name of the pattern is Lorraine Rose
It has no chips but there is a hairline crack and a repaired crack on the base of the stand and some stains and crazing due to the age.
