Vintage Bentima mantle clock. Estate find. Original. Winds up and works, but may need TLC. I believe there is a lever on the back that adjusts how fast or slow the clock is running that is missing. I do not know anything about clocks, so I am going on what I have been told. This is an estate sale find. I do know when wound up the clock runs and keeps time. When the clock is wound and tipped forward it starts ticking. When tipped backwards it will stop.The clock case, trim around the clock face, and clock metal back show patina and wear consistent with age and use. The wood has no chips, splits or cracks. Lovely mantle clock. Bentima, made in England. Case is wood, 1/4 sawn oak, with a great patina! Sits on wooden feet with very pretty carved wooden accents in the front. The hours, Bentima, and Made In England are on a silver metal ring attached to the front of the clock. The hands are silver tone metal. Domed glass cover for the face is stationary, not meant to open, and in held in place by a silver tone metal ring.

Measurements: 7 1/2" high at center point. 11" wide at widest point. 2" deep.
