1984 Guild S-284 Aviator in very good condition. The Aviator was made between 1984 and 1988 with fewer than 650 produced. In this period Guild offered many optional pickup and bridge configurations for their higher-end models so very few of any specific color, pickup, bridge and fretboard configuration were made.

- Set neck construction,

- Ebony fretboard,

- EGM active pickups (2 single coil pickups and 1 humbucker)

- 3-way switch, volume, tone,

- Kahler 2300 series flat-mount tremolo bridge

There are small paint chips on the point and bottom edge of headstock. A larger chip at the rear battery cover. Has about a dozen small scratches or scuffs along the body edge and some superficial finish scratches on the upper-back of the body. Other than that it looks very nice.  Paint is a very glossy black.

  Tremolo bar,

  Locknut clamp plate and screws

Also, the battery cover is not original.  Shipped in gig-bag.
