Most likely originally intended for one of their rapid rectilinear designs because they are marked for that sort of aperture progression, the largest marked US 4 or f/8, but they obviously could be used in any lens they fit. They are 1 11/16 inches wide. Waterhouse stops often get misplaced and missing from their original cameras and lenses, and I imagine there are plenty of collectors who would love to find replacements or stock for the future.
