Antique American Edwardian Sprung Decorative Turned Wooden Rocking Chair Seat - For Restoration



A classic American rocking chair from Circa 1900. The back has vertical and horizontal turnings, a partially upholstered top rail and contains a rectangular upholstered panel. There are partly upholstered, turned arms which are supported on turned spindles and beside an upholstered seat. All on a sprung, rocking mechanism with turned stretchers.


In need of re-upholstery.


Unsure of the exact age, wood type or make.

Does have quite a few marks, scuffs, scratches, chips and signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and type of item.  There are signs of historic woodworm (inactive and treated as a precaution). The upholstery is very worn and in need of recovery.
