22" Garden Statue / Figure Of Ancient Chinese Water Carrier

It was a garden statue and it appears to be missing a piece of the hat on top. I tried to research this and seems to be very rare and maybe post 1940's? Its Approx 22" tall x 6" wide and 3-4" inches thick. It weighs approx 8lbs

Please see all pictures for the condition! Im not sure what the original material is, similar ones I found said bronze, and due to its age and it being outside its possible the bronze wore off? This is still a nice piece even with its flaws.
