ATQ Occupational Photo Working Men Boys Dog Mining Lumber Yard Western Friends

Wonderful image!

Group of hard working men…lots of different hat styles and clothing. Overalls, work gloves, jackets and great expressions. There is also a younger boy and dog nestled in the group.

Not certain if they work at a mine, lumberyard? Acquired from the west coast.

Previous owner made a couple of doodles top right corner. In the lower left corner he writes, “The Friends I Knew.”

Pencil written word on reverse. I believe it says Merchant.

Research found a couple of western US mines of that name. The Merchant, a copper mine in Sonomish County Washington and The Merchants Home, a gold, silver, lead and zinc mine in Yavapi County, Arizona. All conjecture as no other identifying info on reverse.

Print mounted on board. Full size measures 5-3/4” x 4-3/4”.

Pinhole at top edge from hanging.
