This particular aircraft, N732PA, was used in trials by Boeing for the flight test trials for the 747 back in 1969 and then delivered to PAN AM on July 13th 1970. When the testing was ongoing this aircraft had a 32 feet extension added to the nose section which was used for wind trials.
