Argh…this was such a lovely, rare piece; one of those that hardly ever survives (and now it joins the list of casualties…lol), BUT for the right person (who is okay with having it repaired for display purposes), it can live to see another day!  ;)  (This would have easily fetched several hundred dollars if I hadn’t rested something on top of its box by mistake.) :p
