Excellent condition early 1970s Epiphone FT-130, Japan. Spruce and mahogany laminates. This is actually a hybrid of a newly acquired 130 body and a spare neck that I had lying around. This neck is 1 and ¾” at the nut, so it’s not as crowded as these can be when they’re 1 and 5/8. As I recall, the neck IS from another 130, whose body was beyond saving. This body has none of the dreadful Epi-bolt-on neck push and soundhole deformation, and the top is almost flat at the bridge. Very small lifting and tilting that has no effect on playing (see pic). I had to touch up and clamp down the two bridge “wings”, which are now totally clean. There are a couple of light scratches on the top near the bridge, likely from actions of the former owner(s), but nothing to lose sleep over. These are really the only marks (minor) on the whole guitar, which is very clean. All original parts except for a new nut and saddle. The attachment screw holes in the neck were a bit old and rough, so I filled and redrilled them with hardwood dowel. Rock solid now. Guitar plays and sounds great. These are nice instruments with comfortable necks and excellent upper fret access, and this one turned out great. Run of the mill non-original gigbag.

NOTE: USA regulations under the CITES convention (trade in endangered species) have finally been loosened to allow easy international shipping of vintage instruments, unless they contain BRAZILIAN r******d (Dahlbergia nigra). Fortunately, all RW on this guitar is East Indian, so this guitar is OK to ship internationally.

UPDATE: Ebay now demands that we sellers give THIRTY DAYS for returns. Any honest buyer will know within a few days whether there is any need for a return. I no longer take returns through Ebay, but I will never "stick" another musician with a guitar. Please contact me if there any problems, and we'll work it out.
