Decorated Damas Pocket Watch Marriage Conversion to Wrist Watch w Custom Skeleton Dial.
This is a beautiful highly decorated Damas pocket watch from the mid 1940's has been customized and converted to a modern wrist watch with a new custom skeleton dial.
The movement has been disassembled, cleaned, oiled, then reassembled and timed to better than +\-1min per day then placed into a customized polished stainless steel watch case. The decorated movement is gold toned with "Perlage" visible inside the skeleton dial and "Cotes de Geneve" stripes visible thru the exhibition back cover.
The watch is wound and set via the stainless steel crown at 12.
The new case measures 47.6mm in diameter (59.6 at the crown) and 15.7mm thick. it features a 22mm wide black leather band with a butterfly clasp.
Damas Swiss watch brand was founded in 1903 Tramelan, Switzerland by Ch. Ed. & J. Beguelin.The Damas mark with the underlining 'M' was registered by Beguelin & Co. SA/Tramelan Watch Co. of Tramelan, Switzerland, in 1944
