Vintage Robert Hoyer 29" 4/4 German Violin Bow

Found in violin case in storage for 40 years.


A circa 1970’s Octagonal bow from the Markneukirchen family of German violin and bow makers established by Otto Hoyer. 

Nickel silver mounts with a plain French-style “blind-eye” frog, bearing the embossed Lyre Hoyer family crest. 

A strong and responsive yet supple bow.
